BoSS Mourns Visionary Former Governor Othow Rago Ajak

Juba, 26 September 2025- The leadership of the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), joined by senior national government officials, gathered on Thursday in solemn tribute during the funeral of the late former Governor, Othom Rago Ajak, who passed away in Egypt on September 17, 2025.
Speakers at the ceremony hailed the late Rago as a visionary banker and dedicated public servant. He was remembered for his warmth, diligence, and deep sense of self-sacrifice.
Many reflected on his unwavering commitment to staff welfare, which he championed throughout his tenure as Governor of the Central Bank.
