BoSS Presents Financial Sector Diagnostic Findings to Economic Cluster

Juba, April 1st, 2026- The Economic Cluster, chaired by Vice President H.E. Dr. James Wani Igga, listened to a presentation from the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) on the findings of South Sudan’s financial sector diagnostic studies and the proposed strategy.

The presentation highlighted key findings, the financial sector strategy, and priority recommendations aimed at supporting ongoing financial sector and broader economic reforms.

During the session, Governor of Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), Hon. Johnny Ohisa Damian, outlined challenges and strategies to promote a sustainable financial sector.

The Cluster commended BoSS for its comprehensive diagnostic studies and pledged to continue reviewing the document in subsequent meetings.

The South Sudan Financial Sector Diagnostic Studies and Strategy were conducted by KPMG under the World Bank-funded Strengthening South Sudan Financial Sector (3SF) project.
