BoSS, Russian Diplomat Explore Stronger Banking Ties

Juba, March 30, 2026- –The Ambassador of Russian Federation to South Sudan, H.E. Aleksandr V. Kosmodemiyanskiy, paid a courtesy visit to the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) on Monday. The delegation met with Governor, Hon. Johnny Ohisa Damian and discussed strengthening cooperation and collaboration between BoSS and the Central Bank of Russia.
The discussions also focused on areas of monetary policy and technological advancement, with an emphasis on how Bank of South Sudan can benefit from Russia’s experience in modernizing its financial systems.
The Russian Diplomat was accompanied by Dr. Abdullah Mohamed Nour, Honorary Consul General of the Russian Federation, and Dmitrii Gusev, Third Secretary at the Embassy of the Russian Federation.
