Bank of South Sudan’s Financial Markets Department is headed by Director who is deputized by his Deputy Director.
The department is made up of a Front Office which initiates the deals with the clients, Middle office which do risk analysis on the clients and the deals agreed upon by the Front Office. The Back Office then completes settlement of all deals.
In addition, Financial Markets department has debt management units which issue treasury bills and bonds and manage their repayment, as well as a gold management unit which is entitled to build gold reserves in the bank.
