Late Marial, Economist and Former BoSS DG, Laid to Rest in Rumbek

Rumbek, 20 May 2025 – The body of late Marial Mabeny Bawuor, former Director General for Banking Operations at the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), was laid to rest in Rumbek town on Monday.
A delegation from BoSS, led by David Manyuon Nak, Director General for Administration and Human Resources, along with other staff members, accompanied the body to Rumbek.
Lakes State officials, headed by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Hon. Stephen Mathiang Deng, joined family members and the local community in receiving the body at Rumbek Airstrip to honor his life and contributions.
Born on January 1, 1965, Marial Mabeny Bawuor Dhal was a distinguished economist and central banker who dedicated his life to public service, economic research, and policy development in both Sudan and South Sudan.
