Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee, BoSS hold meetings

Juba, 20th Feb 2025 -The current meetings between members of the National Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee and senior Administrators from the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) focused on fostering a strong relationship between the institution, as the key regulator of commercial Banks, and the broader financial ecosystem.

The meetings, which commenced on Wednesday at the headquarters in Juba, would address challenges and promote progressive initiatives by the institution to strengthen financial accountability and management of public finances. The meetings also highlighted the critical role the Bank of South Sudan plays in advancing financial accountability and contributing to overall economic growth.

Members of the National Parliamentary Public Accounts Committee commended the BoSS administration for its efforts in advancing reforms and improving staff welfare, acknowledging the positive impact these initiatives have on the country’s financial landscape.
