South Sudan Delegation Engages with World Bank and IMF for Collaboration

Washington, D.C., 14 October 2025- Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) Governor, Hon. Dr. Addis Ababa Othow, is among the prominent leaders attending the 2025 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C., United States.
In their first official meeting, the delegation engaged with Mr. Ndiami Diop, Vice President for the Eastern and Southern Africa region at the World Bank. Discussions centered around the ongoing implementation of projects in South Sudan supported and funded by the World Bank Group.
In addition to attending the formal sessions of the IMF and World Bank meetings this week, the South Sudanese delegation is expected to hold a series of strategic sideline meetings with various stakeholders and key economic decision-makers.
