The summit, which served as a platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, addressed the critical issues such as financial inclusion, digital finance, and sustainable finance, among others.
Held annually in Lomé, Togo, the AFIS provides an ideal platform for South Sudan to explore collaboration opportunities with West African banks. Judging from engagement and observations, potential areas of cooperation include but are not limited to the following:
· Expanding access to financial services: West African banks can leverage their expertise in mobile banking and other innovative financial solutions to reach underserved communities in South Sudan.

· Promoting financial literacy: Financial literacy is key to enabling South Sudanese individuals and businesses to make informed financial decisions. West African banks can collaborate with local organizations to promote financial literacy initiatives.
