Presidential Advisor pays courtesy call to BOSS New HQ

South Sudan’s Presidential Advisor this afternoon paid courtesy visit to BoSS new Headquarters in Juba
Dr. Costello Garang Riny Lual, along with his accompanying delegation met the BoSS top management in the persons of the Governor Hon. Dr. James Alic Garang and his first Deputy Hon. Yanga Samuel Mikaya.
Hon. Samuel briefed the delegation about the genesis of the headquarters which began way back in 2008 when the current area was given to the bank by the community. Work did not start until 2022 when the government initiated the project on the ground.
The guests toured various facilities including the offices, sports complex, conference hall and parking lot.
Dr. Costello commended the Bank’s administration, particularly Governor Dr. Alic, for the swift completion of the project. He praised Dr. Alic’s dedication and professionalism, emphasizing the significant role the new headquarters plays in enhancing and expanding banking services. Dr. Costello expressed strong support for such innovative initiatives.
In response, Governor Dr. Alic expressed gratitude for the visit, highlighting the importance of positive portrayal of South Sudan and commended Dr. Costello for his role in advancing infrastructure projects, including the railways project that will connect South Sudan with neighbouring countries.
This visit underscored the ongoing efforts to strengthen South Sudan’s financial infrastructure and promote sustainable development through key national projects.
