BoSS Hosts Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Workshop

Juba, July 15, 2025- Through a five-day workshop on the risk-based approach to counter-financing of terrorism (CFT) and Anti-Money laundering (AML), the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) is leading the nation’s efforts to improve its financial integrity.

In his opening remarks, First Deputy Governor for Policy and Banking, Hon. Samuel Yanga Mikaya urged the participants to learn from the colleagues with vast experience and skills, and share knowledge learned.

BoSS Acting Director General for Banking Supervision and Financial Stability, Dr. Majok Kuol Mading and Bank of Uganda, On-Site Unit Manager, Mr. Godwin Ssenyonndo  jointly enlightened the participants on the importance of Risk-Based Approach to AMC/CFT Supervision. 

The workshop is being attended by BoSS and Financial Intelligence Unit staff.
