Juba, September 15, 2025 – The Christian Fellowship of the Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) held its morning devotional prayers on Monday, during which it emphasized unity, service, and the role of faith in public institutions.

BoSS Governor Dr. Addis Ababa Othow called on the employees to treat one another like a family and stressed that discrimination is unwelcome in the central bank. “This institution can be great if we unite and realize each of us can make a difference,” he said.
In his sermon, evangelist Joseph Deng, who led the preaching, urged staff to be “light to the world,” reflecting God’s love and unity in their work. “Ask yourself, are you among those preaching unity and sending out the light of God to this institution and to South Sudan,” he challenged.

Deng reminded everyone how faith can be harnessed to promote national unity within the public service.

The prayer session was also attended by First Deputy Governor, Hon. Samuel Yanga Mikaya and officials from different directorates and departments.
