Juba, 29 September 2025- The Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), through its Communication and Public Relations Department, organized an interactive media session with news editors and reporters, joined by representatives from commercial banks and telecom companies.

The discussions focused on the role of the media in educating the public on key financial policies, including the upcoming Interbank Payment Settlement System (SSIPS), digital banking, and the World Bank-funded Strengthening South Sudan’s Financial Sector (3SF) project.

The sessions aimed to help journalists better understand banking policies to ensure accurate and objective reporting. Participants called on BoSS to organize workshops on financial reporting to enhance media capacity in covering the financial sector.

Held under the theme: “Partnering with Media for Financial Transparency and Digital Progress,” the event was attended by senior BoSS officials, media leaders, and representatives from banks and telecom companies.
