Bank of South Sudan Concludes Five-Day Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity-Building Workshop

Juba, Aug. 7, 2026- –Bank of South Sudan (BoSS) has concluded a five-day Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Capacity-Building Workshop designed to strengthen the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting skills of staff from departments across the Bank.

The training provided participants with practical knowledge and techniques in data collection, questionnaire design, and the use of monitoring and evaluation tools. These skills are expected to strengthen evidence-based planning, reporting, and decision-making across the Bank. The workshop also underscored the importance of accurate and reliable data in supporting institutional performance and accountability.

The closing ceremony was officiated by the Director General for Board Affairs, Risk and Strategy Management, Bedpiny Kur, who congratulated the participants on successfully completing the training. He commended their active participation and commitment throughout the workshop, noting that the knowledge and skills gained will contribute to improving the Bank’s operational effectiveness.

Kur encouraged participants to apply the lessons learned in their respective departments and to promote a culture of quality data collection, continuous learning, and results-based management across the institution. The Bank of South Sudan remains committed to investing in staff development and institutional capacity-building as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance organizational performance and deliver on its mandate effectively.
