OFFICIAL CLARIFICATION
Bank of South Sudan (BoSS), through its Communication and Public Relations Department, has taken note of false and misleading allegations circulating on social media concerning the conduct of the Bank’s Management.
The Bank categorically and unequivocally rejects these allegations as false, baseless, and unsupported by any credible evidence. The claims do not represent the policies, practices, decisions, or institutional conduct of the Bank of South Sudan.
Earlier today, a certain tabloid published misleading accusations about managerial procedures regarding the recruitment norms followed by the bank.
The Bank considers the deliberate creation and circulation of false information a serious matter. Unverified and fabricated claims can mislead the public, damage the reputation of individuals and institution, undermine public confidence, and create unnecessary tension.
The public is therefore strongly urged not to accept, share, or amplify unverified claims as facts. Information concerning the Bank should be obtained from official Bank channels or other credible and verifiable sources.
BoSS remains committed to performing its responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, fairness, and strict adherence to the applicable laws, policies, and institutional procedures governing the Bank of South Sudan.
Truth requires evidence and public information entails responsibility. The Bank of South Sudan remains committed to both.
