Preparations afoot for major sports conference in Juba
Plans are under way to hold a major sports conference in Juba as the year draws to a close. The conference will be organized by the National Ministry of Youth and Sports, supported by the Bankers Association, with the Bank of South Sudan, hosting the event in November 26-28,2024 at the conference hall.
The conference will bring together delegates from South Sudan and neighbouring countries to share insights and explore collaborative opportunities, marking a significant step towards advancing sports development in the region.
At BoSS meeting hall, the National Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Joseph Geng Akec informed sports lovers of the forth coming even and said plans are at advanced stage to realize the function.
BoSS first Deputy Govenor Hon. Samuel Yanga Mikaya attended the meeting which focused on innovative strategies to rejuvenate the sports sector and enhance the sporting landscape in South Sudan, with the aim to attracting crucial investments.
